Legacy

The peaceful uprising 25 years ago that ends and crippled to its knees the proud and powerful and marks the new beginning of freedom, peace and humble leadership is being question whether it has succeeded to deliver its substance. It is confusing to note that inspite of our success to gain freedom we still want to have a piece of it.

We are again defining leadership and everyone hope it will be reckoning time of something we've so much awaited. True leadership. Unconditional leadership. Leadership with and for the people. Leadership that boils down to love, courage and faith. Leadership that move and retains a legacy. Leadership that breaks and heals. Leadership that we aspire, dream and hope. In the end, leadership that remains an ideal, mystery and high hopes...never happen, never end and dead.

Our leaders created a building block of prosperity and success and show us an act of courage, sacrifice and leadership that shines. We hope to see a brighter light of their aspiration and a good influence of their deeds.

If we failed, we blame others for our failure. We instill bad images of our detractors. We perceived and long for the collapse of our enemy. By then an image of an enemy we perceived lies in our very system. Everyone wanted to be a leader. Everyone is too proud to submit and follow.

Desperations come to all those who sees and wait. Aspiration for change remains to those who doesn’t cares if not have no knowledge to judge. Trying luck to those who believe in their guts and emotions they pour. After all, it was still a failure.

Governance defines the kind of society, spell the pride of the people and perceive the leadership that shall rise or keep constituents from the quagmire of mislabeling. Everything rests in the government. The government shall at all its might shall move mountains of negative thoughts, shall work for the lame people and fight for its idealistic democracy. If governance fails so its people fails. Governance is creating a solid bureaucracy. Governance is looking for elite financing. Governance is showing an image of power. Without a piece of it governance is destined to fail. All idealists shall fail and remain in the hindsight of their dreams.

Let there be war. We cannot achieve prosperity and success without war. We cannot realize our dreams without war. We will not mature as a country without war. We will not realize the true meaning of love, courage and peace without war. Let there be war within us.
We can be a copy cut forever. We can simply put our future to the hands of other race. We can wait until we drop our aspiration. And then fail to create our identity as a nation.

What legacy will you print in the history of the Philippines?
