When A Bird Flies

There is sugar on your feet
The ants came crowded and free
Poor man’s skin furrowed
Desire and happiness alight at once

The cascading rain surround
Every ear of silence in raptures
The striking right foot kills
Bruises define the sniveling soul

Swallow the eyes that chase
The lingering pain and numbness
Beauty defines and found no one
Every brute died in sorrow

Sailing in the summer warmth
A tad and drop of water is gold
The soul hunt in the distance
Towering sight and smelling divine

Happiness found no one
Birds fly in the distance
An egret perch from a flight
Distance unknown and far

Then you remember the euphoric waves
Bringing tides of thwack force
Brutal and free
Makes a heart of stone to sand

The ticking clock calls

Silence again then a roar

To someone it is wonder
It is something you adore

Every man’s fell
The sound of pounding deep
Diving into every man’s emotion
Like a cat and mouse squabbling

Then you stay and focus
The sight of luminous ceiling
One thing that can lead to you
The switch jiffy and gone
